DV camcorders are playing a growing role in newsgathering. Frezzi Energy Systems has been in the business of creating lights for TV news since 1948, and today its hottest products are designed for MiniDV cameras. At NAB this year, Frezzi shows its newest Micro-Fill quartz lights and Micro-Sun Gun HMIs. At less than 6oz., these on-camera lights are only half as heavy as the company's Mini-Fills. The lights are either standard on/off or controlled by a dimmer. All Micro-Fills and Micro-Sun Guns come with mounting hardware and bulb, and are available with all the commonly requested connectors.
