Vegas keyboard

Specialized keyboards help users of high-end NLEs work faster, with extra keystrokes kept to a minimum. That's the idea behind WorldTech Devices' Specialist for Vegas, claimed to be the first keyboard developed specifically for Vegas 4.0, Sony Pictures Digital's NLE. WorldTech, which conducted time-motion studies of the keyboard, says editors can expect time savings on average of about 43% over standard keyboard use. The Specialist for Vegas keyboard incorporates existing shortcut commands, so users can trigger some 130 Vegas 4.0 and Vegas 4.0+DVD commands. The keyboard doesn't use flimsy-looking key stickers either; both laser-etched and color key-caps designate important Vegas 4.0 software commands.
