Realtime editing system
As the latest generation of camcorders and NLEs deliver higher-quality images, the rest of the system must keep up. Canopus' DVStorm2 Pro+ does that, adding component video output to its video editing, transcoding, effects, and authoring software chops. Besides MPEGCraft, the company's new, frame-accurate MPEG editing tool, bundled-in software includes Edius LE (realtime editing) and the Adobe Video Collection (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Encore DVD). To deliver realtime editing, effects, and encoding, the kit also includes a hardware-based MPEG encoder. If you use the full version of Canopus Edius (or Adobe Premiere Pro), DVStorm2 Pro+ delivers five simultaneous realtime video streams, unlimited title and graphics layers, realtime color correction, waveform/vectorscope, and DV chroma-key.
