Premiere boost

Canopus introduces the next generation of a tool that's meant to give Adobe Premiere 6.5 and the company's new Edius NLE a power boost. DV Raptor RT2 features Canopus' DV codec, as well as realtime DV and analog out in Premiere. There's SoftMPG for quick MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video creation, a quick-and-easy Canopus NLE called EZEdit, and a DV capture tool that scans and captures up to three video streams in a single pass. Premiere users gain the ability to handle multiple moving titles and graphic layers using three streams of video. For $50 extra, the package adds Power Tools, a collection of effects for Premiere consisting of six video filters and eight realtime 3D transitions, including 3D picture-in-picture.
