New, improved NLE

With most NLE products now offering similar tool sets, other areas of post, such as improved functionality and workflow, have gained importance. Incite Multimedia addresses those concerns in the version 3.1 release of Incite Editor. The company touts the upgrade as offering — via its single interface — NLE tools, background task management, and network-based media management. Version 3.1 adds an improved interface design, more sophisticated use of templates, and extended interactivity among the product's modular components. New features include simplified tools for rendering and batch render management, improved media and project asset management, realtime sub-pixel rolls and crawls, and 3D Flex FX Transitions with the Matrox Max option.
