Mac Vengeance

From Digital Voodoo comes a new HD SDI card for the Mac. The HD Vengeance features two 10-bit HD SDI outputs and one HD SDI input. Additionally, an SD SDI downconverter allows users to view high-def and standard-def images simultaneously (selectable between video and key channels), or work in HD without having to purchase an HD monitor. Resolutions up to 1080i are supported. Final Cut Pro editors and Combustion, After Effects, and Photoshop artists can work with un-compressed, 10-bit 4:2:2:4 or 4:4:4:4 dual-link video directly in YUV color space. Operation with dual-link 4:4:4:4 is possible using an Apple Xserve; dual-processor G4s (867MHz or higher) execute all other functions. Video genlock and a built-in safe-area generator make HD Vengeance suited for broadcast design work.
