It might be small and affordable, but the new Dell 2100MP has something presentation pros need but don't get from a lot of the projectors in the micro-portable class: component video input. Dell's 2100MP also has strong full-on/full-off contrast of 1800:1, and brightness is rated at 1000 lumens. Native resolution for the projector is SVGA (800×600). Dell is positioning this for dual applications: home theater and business presentation. Motion-adaptive hardware de-interlacing with 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown improves moving-picture quality, and monitor loop-through opens up viewing options for computer presentations.
